Nothronychus - A Dinosaur Toy with a Difference

An addition to the Everything Dinosaur model selection, a model of a Therizinosaur (scythe lizard).

Nothronychus was named and described in 2001, fossils of this bizarre Cretaceous dinosaur have been found in the western USA.  It was the first Therizinosaur dinosaur to be found outside Asia.

We have added a person to scale so that readers can see the size of this dinosaur, it is believed to have been between 4.5 - 6 metres long and would have weighed perhaps as much as 1,250 kilogrammes.
